The Radford University Art Museum system currently utilizes two main gallery spaces: The Art Museum at the Covington Center and the Art Museum on Tyler. While construction for the new Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity is underway, the Department of Design makes use of our two satellite galleries located in Muse Hall and Tyler Hall. Admission is free.

Explore the Permanent Collection Digitally
The Radford University Art Museum houses roughly 2500 works of art, including 200+ student works. Noteworthy collections among the Art Museum’s holdings are the largest collection of works by New York artist Dorothy Gillespie (more than 80 works), 281 works on paper by Adolf Dehn, nearly 60 works by Harold Little, and the Kolla-Landwehr Foundation collection of 60 Huichol yarn paintings. Additionally, the museum owns some 250 works from the estate of Betty Parsons, a major art dealer in New York.

Selu Scenery Workshops
Radford University Art Museum’s plein air workshop series is back! Enjoy free artistic workshops in the beautiful setting of Radford University’s Selu Nature Conservancy. Workshops feature various art media (ex: painting, drawing, photography) and occur outdoors (plein air!) once a month at Radford University’s Selu Conservancy.
Registration is required and free for all participants, including students students and the Radford community. Space is limited. Please register by email at RUartmuseum@radford.edu or call the Art Museum Office at 540-831-5754.
